Deep Tissue:
This modality works to access deep tissue releases and is always done within the tolerance of the client. The goal is to reach impingements without causing harm; otherwise it wouldn’t be healing right?
Myofascial Release:
Myofascial release is a very effective hands-on technique that provides sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial Release involves engaging the fascial system of connective tissues
Thai-Style Massage:
Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Thai massage is usually done on a padded mat on the floor although it can also be adapted to a massage table. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed. You are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the massage.
CranioSacral Therapy:
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch, generally no greater than 5 grams or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction. This treatment is performed fully clothed.
Intuitive Bodywork / Energy Balancing
Intuitive bodywork involves addressing energetic imbalances in the physical or energetic body. Because of the connection between these aspects of our being, an imbalance in emotional energy can effect the physical. This method of therapy can be done fully clothed or in direct contact with the body.
