Holistic healing practices have been an interest and a passion in my life since a very young age. My appreciation for the inter-connectedness of the mind, body and energetic being continues to fascinate and inspire me to always seek knowledge as growth.
One of the things I love most is engaging the healing process in its individual journey of integration within my clients.
In 2000, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. My certification training for Massage Therapy was completed through study at Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, MI in 2008 and I was nationally certified in therapeutic massage bodywork (NCTMB) in 2010 and am currently licensed as a Licensed Massage Therapist, LMT. I completed a Master of Social Work at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, May 2010 and am currently licensed as a LMSW specializing in Clinical Social Work and mental health therapy. Additionally, I also completed the Sexual Health Certificate Program on Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education at the University of Michigan in March 2019! With this certification, I am now offering sex therapy in my existing clinical therapy practice. My specialty is working with LGBTQ and other marginalized identities, however I am open to seeing clients regardless of ethnicity or sexual orientation. In my practice, I only see adults age 18+ and I do not offer couples therapy but am open to working with couples who have specific concerns rather than relational difficulties.
My vision for Integrated Wellness is to actualize the wholeness of being using techniques from many healing traditions.
